Expensive drinks but they're really good. Grilled cheese appetizers was also good. Bartender wasn't really attentive wanted to hurry to get back on his phone. I like the ambience, dimmed light good for a date night.
brilliant spot... great ambience... great cocktails... great for a date.
Great place to chill and drink with friends. You can get seated at a table and talk over amazingly crafted drinks. I recommend The Stepmother. Made with gin and some other stuff.
Tooker Alley is a fine bar that serves tasty cocktails, along with wine and beer, and some gourmet-sounding food (that I didn't try). Some of the cocktails were better than others, with some being too tart in my opinion or too spicy according to my friend, but overall the drinks were nice. Service is quite slow but very friendly.
The cocktails here are phenomenal. They have old classics and their own inventions - both are very worth trying. It's got a cool 1920's vibe inside, and a 1960's-feeling back patio to enjoy during the warmer months!
Prohibition era cool. House-made cocktail list it'll take 30 minutes to read through. Very cool.
Great service, very cozy. Nice for a couple or a group.
High quality drinks for sophisticated palates. Really cozy and modern ambiance without being pretentious. Great for a chill happy hour or first date.I had the old fashioned which was excellent!
Bartender Ty make some really amazing drinks.
Thank you to bartender Tye who hooked me up with something fabulous. The well balanced acoustics of the LIVE JAZZ on Monday nights will also have me back. And I haven’t even tried the food yet but am thinking it’ll live up to the hype- kitchen is open till 10:30 on weekdays hey hey hey
Waiter took a pass at my girl so I took a pass at this review. Otherwise my favorite cocktail place for years!
Rounding up from 4.5, drinks were very good but slightly unbalanced, great service
Great atmosphere, location, and drinks. The staff there is awesome.
Just left Winter festival at Brooklyn Museum and looking for a place to warm up. Cutensils neighborhood bar with a speakeasy vibe to it. Their cocktails were interesting but all I wanted in the moment was a glass of wine to warm me up. The bartender Tyler was friendly and attentive and recommended the mini grill cheese and soup to have with the wine. Absolutely delicious! The drinks and food were reasonably priced and with friendly service a great place to go back to for a drink and light appetizers.
Friendly staff that knows their cocktails. Great selection 👌
Knowledgeable staff and tasty cocktail list. Classy feel, nice for a date and conversation.
These cocktails are AMAZING. Maybe the best I've had. Great bar tender who was really nice and laid back. Go sit at the bar on a Monday night and listen to some cool music and chat to the regulars
Tooker is a nice relaxing place ...great service ...ask for Ty he is top bartender ðŸ˜
Perfect cocktails and friendly service!
This is a favorite bar we go to often. Perfect vibe for chilling and enjoying cocktails. There is a lot on the menu to choose from but staff is extremely helpful to narrow it down. Bar snacks are good too. Everything is quality. You can’t go wrong.
My favorite bar in Brooklyn. Owners and staff are great. Very knowledgeable and happy to chat about cocktails, beer, and the Brooklyn bar scene.Excellent (strong) cocktails and a good beer selection.Great outdoor space for the warmer months.
Great for cozy winter evenings or steamy summer nights. Every cocktail I have had here is amazing. Great small bites and friendly staff.
A great bar... Their cocktails are out of the world!
Good small bar. Very nice people work in there
Very mediocre food, good but expensive/overpriced cocktails.
I have been to many fancy cocktail bars in my time and none come close to Tooker Alley! The cocktails are phenomenal and the staff excellent. Del (the owner) is a kind a generous barman with a big heart. He has created a cocktail bar with the quality of the greats but without the pretension. Excellent room, excellent cocktails, excellent staff!
This used to be my local cocktail bar when I lived in the area a few years ago. The atmosphere is warm with lots of wood and soft lighting, this does mean it is pretty dimly lit so don't plan on reading a book. The cocktails are largely riffs on classics or have the feel of pre-prohibition drinks. The core cocktail list has changed little over the past 3+ years but there are about 4 seasonal cocktails that change regularly. The cocktails are generally solid but vary a bit from bartender to bartender as you would expect. The music is always jazz and is played at a reasonable volume. There are a few light food options. They also have a few beers and wines. They have also relatively recently started beer (8 oz) and a shot (1.5 oz) options. The bartender and waitress during a recent visit preferred to chat in the corner (it was not busy) rather than engage the clientele in conversation which is a departure from past visits.
Love the music and atmosphere
Beautiful windows frame a candle-lit space where you can have good cocktails and very tiny bites. Go early if going with a group as only a few tables are meant for more than 2
Nice relaxed bar with good character and charm. Wide arrange of cocktails costing about $13 each. There was a decent selection of beer on tap as well. Friendly service as well!
Nice experience ! Jala-pina cocktail was fantastic !
I've practically had every cocktail here over the course of three visits. The atmosphere is great for a date, it's very dimly lit but stylish. The cocktails are strong, tasty, and well thought out, and the small plates are absolutely delicious. Recommended!
These drinks are excellent and will knock you on your bottom. Actually, the true highlight here are the wonderful waitresses. They are incredibly friendly and informed. And Monday night has excellent jazz music. The ambiance is dark and warm as well. I did not get to go outside to the famed courtyard, but I heard good things.
Ay... let’s see. Our waitress was super nice but um it took about 25mins to get one glass of wine and one cocktail (not busy at all) and 1hr35mins to get our full order: olives, dates, and deviled eggs. The patio fine, but not really worth what we paid. Wine was inexpensive and tasty. Really those were the only highlights.
Fantastic local spot in Crown Heights. the cocktails are some of the best I've had in the city and the shared plates are perfect. Truly a hidden gem! Also, was on a date there, left my sunglasses by accident, I called the next day hoping that someone found them (or simply that no one took them). Not only were they there, but they held onto them for me for a few days until I got back to pick them up.
best mixed drinks in the city by far. Great bar staff and fantastic food. Pricy but worth every penny.
Their heimlich maneuver instructions poster is written in Spanish. Luckily, there are pictures accompanying the text. The menu is more than a menu as it has creative writing aesthetic to it. They have at least 3 pages of homemade cocktails, a wine list and a draft and bottled beer list. A laid back atmosphere with jazz and jazz piano music playing while I was there. From the looks of it the backyard is spacious with table seating and benches (I sat at the bar). $15 dollar minimum on credit cards and if you are planning on sitting at a table and order at the bar, they are going to ask if you plan on staying at the bar or not.
There is an extensive list of creative signature cocktails. The atmosphere is dark and sort of romantic (but not quiet). The bartenders were very attentive and skilled.
Great hangout spot!
A nice and quaint place.... variety of cocktails.... The owner is nice
Amazing cocktails, lovely staff, lovely bar.
Great local bar in Park Slope area. Love their Old Fashion and other classic cocktails.
Love this charming speakeasy in Prospect Heights! You'd be hard pressed to find a better cocktail in Brooklyn (besides Clover Club obviously).
A cool, sometimes quiet, intimate cocktail bar near the park. Drink menu is very cool
The bartender Ty and staff are fun. The customers are cool and theyre always accommodating when youre unsure of what to drink. Live Jazz on Tuesday nights is special as well.
Amazing cocktails for not that expensive.
Great, hidden away speakeasy
Great local bar close to Brooklyn Museum. Friendly staff, good food, craft cocktails and wine at good prices - you can't go wrong at Tooker Alley.
The best cocktails and bartenders in Crown Heights. Order the Martinez. Or just tell the bartender what you like. They'll take care of you.
Arguably the best cocktail bar in the surrounding area. It offers a super old school, prohibition vibe, but without all the self-indulgence you might find in a Manhattan counterpart. It keeps it simple. Best part is you can always find a seat on a weekend night. Bring a date. Order the Ramos Gin Fizz. Trust.
